Siem Reap is the historical jewel of South-East Asia. It was once the capital of great Khmer Empire. The city carries all the magical and glorious history with her. You can smell the history on the buildings, food, even on people. She hosts an ancient and great culture which is a haven for us, travellers.
Also Cambodian coasts around Sihanoukville is a favorite of many surfers from all around the world due its remarkably big waves. The capital Phnom Penh is a more conventional city so preferred for nightlife and cultural events.
